Volunteer Drivers

Meals on Wheels for Northern Illinois seeks compassionate volunteers to deliver meals to older adults in Bloom Township. Each delivery brings more than food — a smile, a friendly hello, and a reminder that someone isn't alone.

What you'll do

• Drive a delivery route in Bloom Township, bringing meals directly to older adults' homes
• Complete routes in approximately 1.5–2 hours per shift
• Provide a brief, friendly welfare check at each stop
• Commit to as little as one day per week

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Availability on weekday mornings
• A caring, dependable attitude
• Ability to carry meal bags from your vehicle to a recipient's door
