Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic customer-centric individual to join our team as a Logistics Specialist. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to our clients, drivers, and impact. You will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring customer needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. The successful, highly motivated, and organized Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the day to day dispatch of loads and daily scheduled tasks.

Responsibilities: 
• Coordinate and manage the logistics operations of the company, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of freight
• Book drivers in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Resolve any issues or delays in transportation and address customer inquiries or complaints
• Effectively communicate challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Daily, complete and resolve all load planning issues, or concerns and effectively communicate to the customer and afterhours team
• Re-plans loads when necessary due to delays, equipment failure or driver issues
• Assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of all aspects of logistics, as required.



Experience: 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sales experience preferred 
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues
• Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
• Computerized dispatch and record keeping (TMS experience a plus)
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
-Experience with Landstar is a plus.

Compensation Details: This position is expected to be served in a full time capacity with a minimum of 40 hours per week. It offers a competitive base salary of between 45-50,000/ year based on experience. With benefit packages available after the first 90 days with successful completion of onboarding.
