CSCC Illinois 2nd Congressional and Senate Candidates Forum

Description

The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Illinois, will host a Nonpartisan Candidate Forum for the Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District, and U.S. Senate, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Moraine Valley Community College.

The Congressional Candidate Forum will feature candidates seeking election to the United States House of Representatives, offering voters the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates as they share their perspectives, priorities, and vision for representing the 2nd Congressional District. The event will also host a Senate Candidate Forum, featuring candidates for the United States Senate, who will address statewide issues and outline their platforms for public service.

Both forums will include moderated questions designed to encourage respectful, informative discussion on issues that matter most to the community. These events are nonpartisan and open to the public, with the goal of promoting civic engagement, voter education, and informed participation in the democratic process.
