Join the conversation related to gaps in Social Determinants of Health in the Chicago Southland. This event, sponsored by the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, will feature three panel discussions focused on 'Generations of Health to Live Well!' 

Following the panel discussions at 12:00 pm, Governors State University will host its annual Epic Health Fair. Jewel-Osco will administer flu and COVID vaccines, while a mobile kidney unit will offer screenings. Attendees are invited to explore student poster presentations and faculty discussions on stroke awareness, mindfulness, and other relevant topics.

Panel Discussion 1: Generations of Aging-Youth to Senior Citizens

Explore resources for all ages in the Southland Region, from youth to seniors. Learn how aging is approached in the workplace and how we can create age-inclusive environments.

Panel Discussion 2: Generations of Neurodiversity

Discover how neurodiversity is an ability, not a disability. Hear from a caretaker, an employer, and a neurodiverse individual, and gain practical resources for fostering inclusion.

Panel Discussion 3: Generations of Digital Equity and Literacy

Explore the barriers faced by diverse learner communities and provide resources to increase access to technology for education, as well as for personal and professional growth.
